Skyline! On this episode of YourVūz, host Rusty Kath is in for a little surprise when he realizes that his co-host Allie Krings is actually joining him for the show! They show off some gorgeous city skylines, natural skylines and Allie decides that we really do live on a pretty planet. And of course there is a few jokes here and there about how hip and pretty Allie is. Allie Krings is still out on assignment. Allie Krings: No actually, I'm right here. Rusty Kath: Allie, totally did not see you there. Allie Krings: Rusty, our knees are touching. Rusty Kath: You must've just got here. Allie Krings: No, I've been here for 30 minutes. We've been having conversations with each other. Rusty Kath: [00:00:30] I don't recall that at all. Allie Krings: You told me like six times, how happy you were to have me back. Rusty Kath: That does not sound like something I would say. But it is good to have you back. It's good to have you here. You're looking pretty, pretty hip. Allie Krings: Oh, I see what you did there. I just had hip surgery. You're funnier than I remember. Rusty Kath: Thank you very much. We missed you last episode. Allie Krings: Anyway, last episode, Rusty asked you to send in some skylines. Yeah, now right behind us is the Minneapolis skyline. [Median 00:01:13] did a fine job capturing urban skylines from around the world. Rusty Kath: From Toronto to Singapore, these are some of our favorites. Allie Krings: Hey, beautiful work. Seems like all around [00:02:00] the world, people really like tall buildings. Rusty Kath: But not all of our submissions were centered in the [00:02:30] city. Some of you showed us some gorgeous natural skylines. [00:03:30] Oh, we live in a pretty planet. Allie Krings: We do, don't we. Now, this next submission was one of my favorites. [00:04:00] It comes to us from Provo, Utah. The mountain skyline is gorgeous in and of itself, but the city skyline will be forever changed. CloudCutter Productions captured the demolition of the Provo Power smokestacks. [00:04:30] That went so much better than if I would've done it. Rusty Kath: Like most things would. Allie Krings: Really good to have you back, kid. Rusty Kath: Now we've seen some great skylines from all over the world, but one rose above the rest. Allie Krings: Drone pilot, Cougar, took us across Belmont Harbor to show off the Chicago skyline at night. Rusty Kath: [00:05:00] Cougar, aka Ron Schuman, shot this at his DJI Phantom 3 Professional. Allie Krings: In his words, "After crashing a couple cheap ones," he moved up to this big boy drone. Rusty Kath: Congratulations, Cougar, you just [00:05:30] won $500.
