Azores Episode 2: Lakes of Sete Cidades 4K

The Lagoon of the Seven Cities (Lagoa das Sete Cidades) is one of the natural wonders of São Miguel, the main island of the Portuguese Azores Islands in the North Atlantic Ocean.  See in this drone video by AirVuz contributor scuervo.traveler, it's actually two lakes located within a volcanic crater in the northwestern part of the island and connected by a narrow strait.  The origins of the lake are tied to a local legend in which a princess and her beloved are forbidden to marry by the king; their tears form the two neighboring lakes.
