Desierto del Diablo - Salta - Argentina

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Check out this drone video from the forbidden-sounding (and -looking) Devil's Desert in Argentina, compliments of AirVuz contributor BlackSun. The desert lies on the plateau known as the Puna de Atacama. It's located in the northwestern province of Salta, not far from the Chilean border. With altitudes of well over 10k ft. above sea level (around 3k m), its red-hued rocks give the place an almost Martian-looking feel. This area is considered a southern extension of the Bolivian Antiplano, a vast plateau of the Andes Mountains region.
