One of the world's smallest countries, Dominica lies roughly in the middle of the Lesser Antilles, as the smaller islands of the eastern Caribbean are known as a group. Geologically the youngest of the Caribbean islands, Dominica's interior is covered by lush mountainous rainforests. Dominica was a primary filming location for the 2006 box-office smash film Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.
