Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist and Drone Video Award Nominee sfdrones brings us this spectacular drone video from the highlands of Iceland. The term "Icelandic Highlands" refers to the plateau which covers much of the land area of this North Atlantic island. Most of the plateau has an elevation of around 1.3-1.6k ft. above sea level (around 300-500 m) and is considered a volcanic desert, where precipation is quickly absorbed into the soil and is unavailable to support vegetation.
