Mangin's Tower

Contributor power falcon created this amazing drone video of a significant historical spot in Northern France.  It's a tower in the Forest of Retz which was constructed in the 1920's on the ruins of an earlier version that had played a key role in the climax of World War I.  The tower was erected on the orders of General Charles Mangin, who was called back to lead the French Tenth Army on the Allies' first major strike following the failure of the Ludendorff Offensives of 1918, and which led to the Allied victory in less than four months.
