Battles of the Marne Memorial

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Contributor power falcon created this drone video of an important site in Northern France commemorating two critical World War I battles that were fought along the banks of the Marne River.  The first battle occurred in September, 1914 when Allied forces stopped the great German advance in what was the conflict's single-most important battle.  The Second Battle of the Marne occurred on almost the same ground in the summer of 1918, when the French stopped a last-gasp German offensive and set up the war's final phase.
