Maui - Forever and Always

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

To make ever more compelling travel videos, experienced drone pilots are increasingly using a combination of "traditional" gimbal-stabilized drones and first person view (FPV) quads to explore their destinations.  Case in point is this marvelous video by AirVuz contributor dylan.drones.  The video was shot on Maui, the second-most populous but in the judgment of many the most beautiful of the islands of the Hawaiian archipelago.  The video was created with footage from a DJI Mini 3 as well as a custom-built FPV drone.

BADGES THIS VIDEO HAS EARNED:

Hey Airvuz, thanks for clicking to check out my latest film! I filmed this last summer, when my wife Sam and I went to Maui for 8 days on our honeymoon, hence the title "Forever and Always". This really was a trip of a lifetime, and I'm so grateful to have a partner that will put up with me flying my drones wherever we go. You can catch a few glimpses of us as we enjoy the amazing scenery and diverse landscapes that Maui has to offer.

I put a lot of work into the sound design, to try adding some depth and additional captivating elements for the viewer, the sound is best enjoyed on headphones. The clips were shot with a DJI Mini 3 Pro and a Gopro Hero 10 black on a custom FPV build, the final sunset shot from the top of Haleakala was shot on iPhone. As always, any constructive criticism is welcomed.
