In this video I use 4 different drones to capture the winter sunrise at Murchison Gap Lookout near Melbourne, Victoria. It was all for fun. I hope you like the video and thanks for watching. Have a great week, Brett - Gizmo Drones

I took the video a few weeks ago when I visited the spot with some drone friends. It is about an 1 hour 10 minutes drive from the city of Melbourne and it was my first time here.

The lookout is a perfect spot to capture the sunrise above the rolling hills and a great place for that perfect social media photo.

In this video I used 4 drones; my DJI Mavic 3 Classic, DJI Avata, iFlight iH3 03 4S version and Flywoo Explorer LR 4 03 4S version. They are the latest models and they all use DJI O3 1/1.7" Air Unit Camera except the DJI Mavic 3 which uses a 4/3" Hasselblad camera.

You would expect the Avata, Flywoo Explorer LR4 and iFlight iH3 to have the same quality video however it does vary slightly due to the speed of the drone, vibration, drone stability and light levels. The iFlight iH3 was the quickest of all of these 4 drones.

Although you can stabilize the video footage in the O3 camera I chose to record it un-stabilized and I used Gyroflow to stabilize the shots. Gyroflow has many options to get the desired result. The Mavic 3 has a gimbal and stabilization so I didn't need Gyroflow for this drone.

I had changed the 2 blade props on the Flywoo Explorer to 3 blade props which improved control but reduced flight time from 28 minutes to 25 minutes using a 3000MAH Lion battery. The iH3 gets 18 minutes with the same battery but has a lot more power and more fun if you like to go fast or do tricks.

All shots recorded in 4K and edited in Davinci Resolve.

I hope you like the video and thanks for watching. Cheers, Brett
