This old and forgotten factory is a so-called “lost place” with more than 180 years of history. Originally founded in 1841 as a brickworks, it produced bricks, roof tiles, and clay pipes used for drainage systems.

After several fires and changes in ownership, the site developed into an important industrial facility. Especially after World War II, its durable stoneware pipes were in high demand and even exported internationally.

However, operations were shut down in 1971 due to rising costs, depleted raw materials, and increasing competition from plastic pipes.

Today, it's an abandoned industrial ruin slowly being reclaimed by nature. Since 2008, entering the site has officially been prohibited due to the risk of collapse. Despite this, it continues to attract urban explorers - sometimes with dangerous consequences.

Nature reclaims everything.
