Skyrun, Race Day

Vertikal Tovo is a skyrunning event , sunday was the race day, 2,9 km, and 1000 meters height difference , practically vertical.

Woke up at 4:00 am, exit from house at 5:00 , parked the car at 6:30 and started to walk in the woods with the dark.  Walking in the pitch dark in the woods was mystical.  At 8:00 am we were  at takeoff point ready to follow the race.

148 athletes , the oldest 89 years old, the youngest 18.

Winner closed the race in 38 minutes (isn't the record) , the oldest one in 1hour and 54 minutes!!!!!! More faster than me.

For me it was a challenging but rewarding work experience.
