BADGES THIS VIDEO HAS EARNED:

The 22nd Great Parade of Dragons attracts crowds to Wawel Castle, as it does every year on the June weekend, where a large show with fireworks, sound, light and, of course, flying dragons performed by the Groteska Theatre is organised on a bend in the Vistula River.

The history of the Groteska Theatre dates back to 1945, when the premiere of "The Tarabumba Circus" directed by Władysław Jarema took place.

The theatre was established on the initiative of Zofia and Władysław Jarema as a children's theatre - the Groteska Puppet, Mask and Actor Theatre

Since 1998, the director of the Groteska Theatre has been theatre director and actor Adolf Weltschek. The Theatre's artistic programme stems from the mission it has taken on: to shape the imagination and artistic, social and interpersonal sensitivity of the audience at every stage of their lives - from early childhood to late adulthood - and to create a space for encounter and dialogue.
