The Historic City of Ronda with its Panoramic Views
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
AirVuz contributor Allan Crawford brings us this excellent drone video of the picturesque Spanish ciy of Ronda. The town is perched above a canyon of the Guadalevín River in the Málaga province of Andalusia, he southernmost region of mainland Spain. Settled since Neolithic times, Ronda may be best known as the setting for one of the most well known passages of 20th century literature: the famous execution scene in Chapter 10 of Ernest Hemingway's classic For Whom the Bell Tolls, first published in 1940.

Ronda, located in southern Spain, is perched at the top of the El Tajo gorge, with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. It has a rich history and gorgeous architecture in its historical core. The main attraction is its Puente Nuevo bridge, which links the old and new towns 400 feet above a dramatic gorge. (AI Generated) The spectacular bridge "call the new bridge" was built in the late 1700's. The bull ring is the oldest in Spain, and like the bridge built in the late 1700's. The classic white villages of Spain dot the area around Ronda, which is considered the largest of the white villages.
