You Yangs - Soar to Flinders Peak 2026

It was great to return to You Yangs today on this beautiful spring morning. Less than an hours drive from Melbourne, it has magnificent views, birdlife and a mecca for walkers, horse riders and mountain bikers. In this video I fly up to Flinders Peak, the highest point at 343 m (1,125 ft) above the flat and low-lying Werribee Plain in southern Victoria. I then return to the huge wedge-tailed eagle made from granite rocks. You Yangs is a massive park with over 50 kilometres or 31 miles of purpose-built mountain bike trails for beginners and experts.
