“Anforini”
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out this excellent drone video of a seaside town in northern Lebanon, compliments of AirVuz contributor Christian Atallah. It was filmed around the town of Anfeh, which is located roughly halfway between Beirut and Tripoli. Settled for over 3,000 years, the town's population is primarily Greek Orthodox. With its architectural similarities to the Greek island of Santorini, it is sometimes called "Anforini". With a permanent population of about 10k residents, Anfeh is a popular summer destination.

A typical summer day in “Anforini”. Located in Anfeh, North Lebanon, and having similar architectural features as the famous Greek island of Santorini, the area is now called “Anforini”, which is a combination of the name of the village “Anfeh” and the name of the island “Santorini”.
