2021 Drone Videos of the Week: Episode 29

Check out this fantastic DVOW winning drone video from the Central Asian republic of Kazakhstan, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot baikensky.  At the :25 mark, there's a nice shot of the M-3 Bridge in Nur-Sultan, the national capital city, which was (until 2019) known as Astana.  At the :38 mark, you'll see the majestic Triumph of Astana building, with the giant tent known as the Khan Shatyr Entertainment Center in the background.  Other shots feature footage from Almaty's, Kazakhstan's commercial capital.

The Italian town of Positano is one of the main spots on the Amalfi Coast, a legendary stretch of coastline on the Gulf of Salerno (part of the Tyrrhenian Sea).  In this amazing video by Wencek_Michal, you'll get a tour of Positano from an entirely new perspective - a first person view (FPV) racing drone.  Ride along for an epic flight along the legendary beaches of Positano, which is part of the province of Salerno in the southern region of Campania.  This video was a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week contest in July of 2021.  

The largest of the Balearic Islands, the Spanish island of Mallorca is one of the top destinations in the entire Mediterranean region.  In this amazing piece by AirVuz contributor KristianFPV, you will see this legendary Southern European paradise from the perspective of a first person view (FPV) racing drone.   Featuring some outstanding coastal cruising over the island's famous rocky shoreline, this video was selected as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week contest in late July, 2021.  

Follow a mountain biker with a first person view (FPV) racing drone in this fantastic piece by new AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Timow.  The video tracks a very skilled rider working the mountainous terrain of the state, which lies in the heart of Central Mexico.  Most of the state is covered by the mountains and plateaus of the Trans-Mexican Volcanic Belt, which (as the name suggests) forms an east-west "belt" across the middle of the country.  This video was picked as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week contest in July, 2021.

Multiple Drone Video of the Week Winner CINEMADRONE brings us this fantastic drone video from Southern Russia.  The video was filmed in the Caucasus Mountains near Sochi, the Black Sea resort city which hosted the 2014 Winter Olympics.  Shot with an Autel EVO 2 drone, the video includes outstanding footage of Bzerpinsky Cornice, a tea plantation in the microdistrict of Matsesta, Akhun mountain, and more.  This video was picked as a Finalist for the Drone Video of the Week contest in July of 2021.
