2023 Drone Videos of the Week: Episode 21

Every week, our team reviews every video uploaded to the site to pick the Top 5 videos. Then, we name our favorite as our Drone Video of the Week and send that drone pilot $ 250. (The winning video is also then a contender for Drone Video of the Month.) AirVuz contributor UmairK.Official used a DJI Mini 3 Pro drone to create this excellent aerial view of the Connemara region of Ireland.  Connemara is part of County Galway, one of the main counties of western Ireland.  It's essentially a wide but shallow peninsula which forms the northern part of Galway Bay.  At the :45 mark (and again at around 1:33), the video features some great shots of the 19th century Kylemore Castle and the adjacent Kylemore Abbey, which continues to operate as a Benedictine Monastery.  

Take in these outstanding drone views from Patagonian (southern) Argentina, compliments of AirVuz contributor and pilot Gustavo Quiroga.  The video was filmed in the province of Neuquén, the northernmost of the provinces which make up the Argentine side of Patagonia, the region which covers the southern tip of South America.  The specific areas filmed are between the towns of Aluminé and San Martín de los Andes, both of which lie in the western part of the province, on the eastern slopes of the High Andes Mountains.  

Check out these excellent sunset aerial views of Switzerland's Monte Boglia, compliments of former Drone Video of the Week Finalist Kpax.  The mountain rises to a peak elevation of just under 5k ft. (a little over 1.5k meters) above sea level.  Situated on the border between the (Italian-speaking) southern canton of Ticino and the Italian region of Lombardy.  It overlooks the large glacial Lake Lugano, which also straddles the Swiss-Italian border.   The video was filmed with a DJI Air 2S drone.  

Former DVOW Finalist Feeling Drone - Guillermo García brings us this excellent video from the Valencia Region of eastern Spain.  The video was created with drone footage from a DJI Mini 2 and a DJI Air 2S and complemented with some ground camera shots.  Starting at the :34 mark, you'll see the Vilafamés Castle, which sits atop a hill in the province of Castellón.  At 1:04, you'll see the castle of Peniscola, on the Castellón coastline.  Other highlights include a pair of windmills at the 1:40 and some great shots of cliffs and waterfalls. 

Multiple Drone Video of the Week/Month Winner By_ewold brings us this stunning drone video from one of the Netherlands' most famous tulip fields.  It's called Keukenhof (aka the Garden of Europe), and it's located near the town of Lisse in the province of South Holland.  Actually one of the world's largest flower gardens of any type, the park covers about 80 acres, over which an astounding 7 billion bulbs are planted annually!  In addition to tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, lilies, roses, carnations and irises are also planted here.
