2023 Drone Videos of the Week: Episode 2

Check out these drone views of a well-known mountain in eastern Austria, compliments of AirVuz contributor max_pawlikowsky.  It's called Hohe Wand, and it's located in the Gutenstein Alps (which in turn ar part of the Northern Limestone Alps) in the state of Lower Austria.  It's one of three mountains collectively known as the Vienna Hausberge, all of which are within an hour's drive of the national capital city.  Hohe Wand has a peak altitude of about 3.7k ft. above sea level, or a bit over 1.1k m.  

Prepared to be amazed by these stunning drone views of Frankfurt, Germany, compliments of former Drone Video of the Week Winner haussmannvisuals.  Most of the video was shot over and around the city's Financial District, which is located on the right (northern) bank of the Main River and which is considered the most important financial hub on the European Mainland.  Including the nearby headquarters tower for the European Central Bank, it's home to all of Germany's ten tallest buildings (as of 2022) and 18 of its 20 tallest.

brings us this excellent drone view of the Badenas Reales region in Navarre, a lagely Basque-speaking region of northern Spain.  The Bardenas Reales is known for its highly distinctive rock structures, which were created by the area's unusual soil composition as well as wind and water erosion patterns.  It's part of the valley of the Ebro River.  The video features a mix of gimbal-stabilized drone as well as first person view (FPV) drone footage.  

Talented AirVuz contributor gianluigipalomba, who won the Drone Video of the Week with his first upload, amazes again with this fantastic 2022 drone reel.  It features aerial highlights of his travels through Italy, Portugal, Iceland and Malta.  The video opens with a first person view (FPV) fly-through of Iceand's Fjadrargljufur Canyon.  At the :17 mark, you'll see the famous rock formation of Praia da Marinha in Portugal's Algarve region.  Other highlights include a Malta watchtower (:27), Iceland's Kirkjufell mountain (:40), and more.  

You will not fail to be amazed by this incredible first person view (FPV) drone mountain surfing video from Italy's Dolomite Mountains, compliments of top AirVuz contributor Cst FPV.  The highly cinematic piece was filmed in various locations throughout the range, which is part of the Southern Limestone Alps and which is located in the Trentino-Alto-Adigio and Veneto regions.  The mountains, which reach heights of up to about just under about 11k ft. above sea level (a little over 3.3k m), are known for their spectacular ridges.  .
