This cinematic first person view (FPV) flight through the outback of Mongolia is incredible, brought to us by pilot dannyemcgee. He was given the opportunity to travel with a group of eagle hunters, an ancient technique that has been passed down through the generations. Hunters train golden eagles to hunt prey, teaching the eagles to come back with their conquest. It’s an incredible thing to see, especially when you feel like you’re flying on the back of an eagle like you do in this FPV flight.

Contributor BaBi created this amazing aerial view of the Gobi Desert in Mongolia.  The great desert covers much of the southern part of the country, as well as large stretches of northwestern China.  It's known as a rain shadow desert, caused by the Tibetan Plateau blocking precipitation that would otherwise move into the area from the south.  It's the fifth largest desert in the world in terms of land area.  Unlike most deserts, the landscape consists primarily of exposed rock rather than sand.
