Cedars of God

Christian ...

The Middle Eastern nation of Lebanon has an association with cedar trees that goes back for eons.  The vast forest that once existed on the slopes of Mt. Lebanon was cited in numerous ancient texts and was one of the key sources for shipbuilding materials in the Mediterranean.  Long since depleted by logging, most of what remains of the ancient forest is confined to the Cedars of God  site near the town of Bsharri.  Now a UNESCO World Heritage site, you can check it out from above in this drone video by AirVuz contributor Christian Atallah.

Drone Reveal of Ghosta

Christian ...

Modern camera drones allow for a new type of "reveal" - the shot a pilot gets descending through the clouds to a scene which either suddenly or gradually becomes visible once a low enough altitude is reached.  This video by AirVuz contributor and drone pilot Christian Atallah is a great example of a drone reveal.  It was filmed with a DJI Mavic 2 Zoom over the Lebanese town of Ghosta.  The town lies just inland (east) from the country's mid-Mediterranean coastline, in the Mt. Lebanon Governate.
