Pinnacle Mountain Hike at Sunrise

droneloop...

Top contributor Droneloop created this spectacular video of a hiking trip to the top of Pinnacle Mountain in the Southeastern USA state of Arkansas.  Pinnacle is part of the Oachitas range, which itself is part of the larger Ozark Mountain system.  While the mountain is only 300 meters (about 1k ft) above sea level, it appearance is much more prominent due to it volcano-looking shape and its steep rise above the Arkansas River below it.  The mountain is located just outside of Little Rock, near the center of the state.

New Orleans, Louisiana. The Big Easy. The historic city near the mouth of the Mississippi River saw catastrophic flooding in August, 2005 when the center of Hurricane Katrina passed just southeast of it and caused much of its water-containing infrastructure to fail.   To this day many of the buildings flooded in 2005 still sit empty. Always spot-on pilot SFPV explored New Orleans and was able to float through some of those places, taking it all in with his quad and landing him on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in April of 2019.

Bumble Bee Productions created this beautiful night drone video of Raleigh, North Carolina's second most populous city and capital.  It's located near the geographic middle of the state, and is the center of a metropolitan area which includes neighboring Durham and the university town of Chapel Hill.  The city is named after Sir Walter Raleigh, who founded the so-called "Lost Colony" of Roanoake on the Atlantic coast.   Raleigh has a population of about a 500,000, and the metro area around 1.3 million.

Top contributor BBloss created this fantastic one minute aerial tour of Atlanta, the informal regional capital of the Southeastern USA.  Situated in north central Georgia, the city is the center of a vast metropolitan area which numbers up to 7 million depending on definition.  Atlanta is home to the world's busiest airport, and is a major corporate headquarters city.  It is home to three central business districts (Downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead) as well as numerous satellite "mini-cores" in its suburbs.

Check out this magnificent drone video of Charleston, South Carolina, compliments of every day drone guy.  The video opens with a great shot of the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, a cable-stayed span over the Cooper River.  Then it's on to the USS Yorktown, the retired US Navy aircraft carrier which is moored at the Patriot's Point Naval & Maritime Museum at the mouth of the Cooper.  Much of the rest of the video features shots from around the city itself, which lies between the Cooper and Ashley Rivers.

For a first upload to AirVuz, new contributor RH1N0 brings us this excellent drone video of the city of Nashville, Tennessee.  The video opens with a shot over Nissan Stadium (home of the Tennessee Titans professional (American) football team) looking west over the Cumberland River towards downtown.  Starting at about the :27 mark, there's a nice close-up shot of the skyline; the building on the left is the AT&T Building, Nashville's tallest.  The video ends with a shot flying over the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge towards downtown.
