The near-shutdown of New York City during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Spring of 2020 gave first person view (FPV) pilots a chance to fly over parts of the city which are normally too crowded, all the while practicing good social distancing.  Case in point is this amazing "quarantine" reel by top contributor rememorales.  Using a racing quad, he was able to capture some stunningly cinematic FPV footage of the city during this strange time. The video features some epic skyscraper dives as well as other shots from around the desolate-looking city.

To see the power of cinematic first-person view (FPV) video, check out this stunning piece from the ruins of ancient Rome by former Drone Video Award winner Druno.  He was able to fly his FPV quadcopter through the Forum, the heart of Imperial Rome, and one of the world's most famous archaeological sites.  Opening with a shot of the Colosseum, he heads into the great public square immediately to its northwest (between the Colosseum and the Pantheon), which was the heart of the Roman Republic and later Imperial Rome.  

You may have seen drone videos of the great city of London, but you've probably never seen anything like this fantastic first person view (FPV) piece by AirVuz contributor jay flies drones. Using an FPV mini-drone, he brings us a unique perspective on the great UK capital city.  The video features some spectacular footage from the skyscrapers on the south side of Thames River, an epic dive of the BT telecommunications tower, the Emirates Air Line tram, and more.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in July, 2020. 

Check out this fantastic first person view (FPV) mini-tour of Los Angeles, California while the USA's second-largest city was deadly-quiet during the Spring, 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, compliments of contributor and FPV pilot steven.mov.  The first stop is the famous pier in Malibu, followed by the "Muscle Beach" section of Venice.  Following a stop along the (dry) Los Angeles River bed, you'll head to downtown LA for some epic skyscraper diving around the Wells Fargo Center on Bunker Hill.  This made the FPV Pilots to Watch list in May, 2020.

Take a first person view (FPV) tour of wintertime Moscow, Russia in this fantastic piece by top contributor pushkinflyteam.  Stating at the :45 mark, there's a shot skimming the River and ending with a view of the Kotelnicheskaya Embankment Building, the tallest in Europe when completed in 1952.  Then you'll head to the main building of the Moscow State University, another Stalinist era skyscraper which is arguably the city's second-most recognized landmark after the Kremlin.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list.  

First person view (FPV) pilot Angelo Re brings us this unique aerial tour of his home city of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  The video was shot while the city was virtually deserted during the Covid-19 pandemic in the Spring of 2020.  This enabled him to safely garner some unique views of the Steel City's iconic riverfront downtown.  Check out some of Pittsburgh's most well-known sights by FPV, including the Fort Pitt Bridge, Fifth Avenue Place, the Renaissance Hotel, the H. J. Heinz Company complex, and more.  

With the streets of Boston, Massachusetts nearly empty in early April, 2020 due to the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic, first person view (FPV) pilot troncat_fpv used the occasion to create this rather haunting but fascinating video from America's oldest city.  Filming in the Back Bay area around Copley Square, he used his racing quad to dive some of the city's most prominent skyscrapers, including the John Hancock Tower; at 240 meters (790 ft.) it's the tallest building in the New England region as of 2020.

Check out this unbelievable first person view (FPV) video from Chicago based pilot and top AirVuz content creator Ilya_fpv, which was picked as the FPV Video of the Month for March, 2020.   His crazy creative flight over the empty canyons of the Chicago "Loop" gives us a unique perspective from the heart of the Windy City.  The highlight is probably the footage of the Ceres statue atop the Chicago Board of Trade building. This video was also selected for inclusion in our FPV Pilots to Watch list.  

After obtaining the requisite ATC permissions, contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot CreativeVisuals.sk put together this marvelous FPV video from the Slovakian capital city of Bratislava.  Until recently, this city on the Danube River was not known for its skyscrapers, but (like many cities) it's undergone high rise building boom in the last two decades.  Watch the video for some great FPV dives of the city's tallest buildings as well as the Most SNP Bridge (sometimes called the UFO Bridge) and other spots in this Central European city.  

New Orleans, Louisiana. The Big Easy. The historic city near the mouth of the Mississippi River saw catastrophic flooding in August, 2005 when the center of Hurricane Katrina passed just southeast of it and caused much of its water-containing infrastructure to fail.   To this day many of the buildings flooded in 2005 still sit empty. Always spot-on pilot SFPV explored New Orleans and was able to float through some of those places, taking it all in with his quad and landing him on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in April of 2019.

For his third upload to AirVuz, top first person view (FPV) pilot jafomin brings us this spectacular FPV tour of the great city of Seattle, Washington.  With his outstanding flying and editing skills, the video will give you a unique perspective of the great Northwestern metropolis.   You'll cruise along the monorail line, weave between some buildings, and dive the iconic-looking Seattle Westin tower.  And that's just in the first minute.  Well worth a watch, this video made the FPV Pilots to Watch list in March, 2021.  

The city of Cleveland, Ohio was once known as the Buckle of the Rustbelt.  Located at the mouth of the Cayuhoga River on the southern side of Lake Erie, Cleveland's steel plants, auto and truck factories, and refineries helped to power the economy of the Midwestern USA for much of the 20th century.  While Cleveland is now more known for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Cleveland Clinic, its industrial heritage is still very visible; witness this first person view (FPV) drone video of the great city.

Get a unique perspective of the great city of Venice, Italy in this fantastic first person view (FPV) piece by top AirVuz contributor Alberto Ardit.  The video opens with footage of the Santa Maria della Salute on the Punta della Dogana.  Then, in a single shot, you'll fly across the Grand Canal to the St Mark's Campanile and the adjacent Basilica and the Doge Palace, before heading back across the canal.  This video was picked for the AirVuz FPV Pilots to Watch list in April of  2021.  

Check out this amazing first person view (FPV) drone tour of Vilnius, Lithuania, compliments of AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Martas Tankevicius.  Using his FPV mini quad, he takes us all around this important cultural center, which is both the largest city and the capital of the small Baltic republic.  Picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in June, 2020, highlights include an epic dive of the 326 meter (about 1.07k ft.) Vilnius TV Tower, a cruise through the Old Town, the Vilnius Castle Complex and the White Bridge, and more.  

In this outstanding video by former Drone  Video of the Week Winner PureCreations.pl, you'll get a thrilling first person view (FPV) drone tour of the city of Bytom, Poland.  Bytom is one of the largest cities of Silesia, a highly industrialized region of southern Poland.  Established in the 12th century, Bytom is one of the oldest Silesian cities, and it was part of Germany (including the earlier state of Prussia) for about 200 years prior to the end of World War II.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list.  

Monument Circle in Indianapolis, Indiana is home to the Sailors and Soldiers Monument, which was completed in 1902.  This limestone monument is now a symbol of both its home city and state, and due to the empty streets caused by the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, it was an alluring challenge for FPV pilot vitopulverenti.  Watch this cinematic edit in which he uses his GoPro, his skilled flying maneuvers, and ReelSteady to create an epic freestyling treat.  We enjoyed it so much we put him on our FPV Pilots to Watch list in April 2020.

Hold on to your proverbial hats for this fantastic first person view (FPV) tour of the historic Spanish city of Ávila by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot gochiestrella.  Located about an hour's drive west of Madrid in the region of Castile and León, Ávila is known for its medieval walls as well as its Romanesque and Gothic churches.  The video features some extremely well-edited hyperlapse sequences, providing a unique perspective on the city's system of walls, the Ávila Cathedral, the city's Old Town square, and more.  

Talented AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot Leprechaun FPV used a cinewhoop style micro-drone to give us this incredible tour of the city of Medellin, Colombia.  Most of the footage was shot with a "cinewhoop" style micro-drone, which is small and safe enough to be flown indoors.  The result is a one-of-a-kind "indoor/outdoor" tour of the city, the center of the city, the center of the second-largest metro area in Colombia.  This video was chosen to be on the AirVuz FPV Pilots to Watch list in November, 2019.

Top AirVuz content creator and first person view (FPV) pilot rememorales brings us this excellent FPV mini-tour of the city of Tbilisi in the Caucasus republic of Georgia.  The video opens with a fly-over of the Mother of Georgia (Kartlis Deda) statue atop Sololaki Hill, followed by (starting at the :08 mark) the Chronicle of Georgia monument near the reservoir known as the Tbilisi Sea.  Other featured locations include the Ferris wheel at Mtatsminda Park, the Bridge of Peace (:20), the Narikala Fortress (:42), and more.  This video was a DVOY finalist in 2021. 

When the freeway is open, mini quads let it rip. Taking us on an ride through Saint Petersburg, Russia at night is AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot Svinik007. He’ll open with a ride along the freeway before quickly moving on to explore more historic sites like the Leningrad Hero City Obelisk and the Moscow Triumphal Arch. The city, glowing in holiday lights, looks beautiful as ever from the eyes of his drone. This video was picked for the AirVuz FPV Pilots to Watch list in December of 2018. 

Former Drone Video of the Month Winner rememorales brings us this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone tour of the city of Kraków, Poland.  The video was filmed flying over the Old City (the very first UNESCO World Heritage site) as well as in the surrounding hills in the voivodeship (province) of Lesser Poland in the southern part of the country.  Poland's second-largest city after Warsaw, Kraków is over 1,200 years old.   It's considered one of Europe's greatest and best-preserved cultural centers.  

Check out this amazing first person view (FPV) video of Kansas City, Missouri, compliments of top AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Flylifeco.  Lying on the banks of the Missouri River, on the Kansas border, KC is one of the most important cities in the USA's Midwest region.  The focus of the video is a set of dives of the city's tallest skyscraper: the 42 story One Kansas City Place.  Standing just under 200 meters above Main Street (624 ft.), it's the tallest habitable building in Missouri.  

Take a spin through the great city of Miami, Florida in this short-but-epic epic first person view (FPV) piece of AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot NonexistentJay.  The video will take you in whirlwind fashion through one of America's top playgrounds.  Featuring epic "gap" shots through some very tight spaces, the video's locations include a drawbridge, the palm trees of Miami beaches, lighthouses, and more.  This video won the talented content creator a spot on the AirVuz FPV Pilots to Watch list in July of 2020.

FPV pilots are continually coming up with creative new uses for their mini-quads.  One of them is to use their FPV drones to create aerial "city tours" that have a much different look and feel compared to "traditional" drone videos.  Here is an excellent example by AirVuz contributor MiLiKo, who brings us an FPV tour of a famous street called Schloßstrasse in Koblenz, Germany.  The street is the main shopping district in the city, which is located at the junction of the Rhine and Moselle Rivers in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. 

You'll get entirely new perspective of the city of Novi Sad, Serbia in this amazing first person view (FPV) video by AirVuz contributor Filip Petronijevic.  Lying on the banks of the Danube River upstream from the national capital of Belgrade, Novi Sad is the second-largest city in this Southeast European country and in many respects its cultural capital.  Opening with an epic shot skimming over the Danube followed by a flyover of the hilltop Petrovaradin Fortress, the video was picked for the AirVuz FPV Pilots to Watch list in July, 2020.

Get a unique perspective of the capital city of Kazakhstan in this amazing first person view (FPV) drone video by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Banshchikov.  A relatively new city, Astana became the capital of this former Soviet republic in 1997 and has since become one of the most modernized cities in Asia.  At the :03 mark, you'll see the Baiterek observation tower, followed by the Nur-Astana Mosque and the Atyrau Bridge.  Other featured locations include the Ailand Ferris Wheel, the Palace of Peace and Reconciliation, and more.  

In the Spring of 2020, with most of Europe under quarantine to fight the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, city centers that would normally be bursting with traffic and people became deathly quiet.  Here is one of these scenes, captured via a first person view (FPV) racing quad by top contributor and pilot Dronujemy.  He filmed the old city of Poznań, Poland with his racing drone, creating a (hopefully) once-in-a-lifetime perspective of the fifth-largest Polish city and the cultural capital of western Poland.  

Get a unique pespective of a historic town in Central Italy with this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video by contributor and pilot CinematicPier.  He filmed the town of Passignano sul Trasimeno, which lies on the northern side of Lake Trasimeno (Italy's fourth-largest by surface area) in the province of Perugia in the region of Lombardy.  The video includes great footage of the town's most well-known landmark: the castle known as La Rocca di Passignano sul Trasimeno.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list.  

Get a unique aerial perspective of the great city of Vienna, Austria in this fantastic first person view (FPV) video of the Austrian capital from AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot janwido.  The video was shot during the Covid-19 pandemic in the first half of 2020, when the city was virtually shut down to ensure social distancing.  The video features some epic FPV views of many of the city's top landmarks, including the great monument in the Maria-Theresien-Platz, St. Stephens Cathedral, the Votive Church, and more.  

Get a unique first person view (FPV) perspective of the Swiss capital city of Basel, compliments of AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Martin FPV.  The video opens with a shot of the single-spired Elisabethenkirche church, followed shortly thereafter by a shot of the twin-spired Basler Münster.  You'll also cruise over the city's port infrastructure on the Rhine River, and through the narrow cobbled streets of the city's old town, and past its modern skyscrapers.  This video made the FPV Pilots to Watch list in January, 2021.    

AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot MrFpv brings us this rather haunting tour of central Beirut, Lebanon in the aftermath of a giant explosion which devastated the city in August, 2020.  The explosion of a store of fertilizer ingredients in a warehouse ripped through this Mediterranean port on August 4 killed hundreds, injured thousands, and caused billions of US dollars' worth of property damage.  This video was picked for the AirVuz FPV Pilots to Watch list in late September, 2020.   

Take a first person view (FPV) drone tour of the ancient Italian city of Matera in this fantastic video by AirVuz contributor and pilot Luca T.  The capital of its namesake province in the region of Basilicata, Matera lies between two canyons carved by the Gravina River.  It's believed to be one of the oldest continuously-inhabited cities in the world.  Visually distinguished by its ancient quarter known as the Sassi, Matera has appeared in dozens of featured movies, most famously the Passion of the Christ starring Mel Gibson (2004).  

Top AirVuz contributor and pilot rememorales brings us this fantastic first person view (FPV) tour of Los Angeles, California as the city began to emerge from its Covid-19 quarantine in the Spring of 2020.  The video opens with a shot along one of LA's Pacific Ocean beaches, before heading for the canyons of downtown LA.  Here you'll be treated to some epic shots of the Art Deco classic Los Angeles Central Public Library, some skyscraper dives, and shots along the still nearly-empty streets of the USA's second-largest city.

Top AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot beto.fpv brings us this incredible FPV video from Houston, Texas.  The video was produced as part of a collaboration between the Lexus car brand and the Houston Astros, the city's Major League Baseball team.  The video opens with some shots of Minute Maid Stadium, the Astros' home field.  Then you'll fly under the Chevron Tower Walkway, aka the Skyring, before hitting other spots around the city.  This video made the FPV Pilots to Watch list and was also a DVOW Finalist.  

Get a unique perspective of the historical city of Esslingen am Neckar, Germany in this fantastic FPV drone video by AirVuz contributor minidrone.studio.  The city is located on the Neckar River, about 14 km (around 9 mi.) southeast of central Stuttgart in the western state of Baden-Württemberg.  An important market town and later a Free Imperial City during the Middle Ages, the city was devastated during the Thirty Years' War of the 17th century.  This video earned our contributor a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in July, 2020. 

Get a unique perspective of the Taiwanese city of Keelung in this excellent first person view (FPV) drone video by AirVuz contributor and pilot sharpwest.  Located just east of the island's northern tip, Keelung is considered part of Greater Taipei.  It's home to Taiwan's second-busiest seaport and is of considerable historical and cultural significance as well.  With great shots cruising the Keelung coastline and buzzing some of the city's landmarks, this video made the FPV Pilots to Watch list in November, 2020.   

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist emrahkarakoc brings us this stunning first person view (FPV) drone video of Mardin, a very old city in southeastern Turkey.  Mardin is the capital of the province of the same name, in Turkey's Southeastern Anatolia region.  The city lies just a short distance north of the Syrian border.  Mardin has been inhabited since the Bronze Age, and was part of two different Assyrian empires.  Most of its prominent architecture dates to its time under a Turkmen dynasty in the 11th-12th centuries.  

Take a tour of the Hungarian city of Szentendre in this fantastic FPV video by contributor and FPV pilot Pircho FPV.  Szentendre is located on the Danube River, just upstream from Budapest in the northwestern part of the country.  Known for its thriving museums and galleries, it's sometimes known as the City of Arts.  The video will take you through this fascinating town, which was decimated under Ottoman occupation but reborn in the late 19th century.  This piece earned Pircho FPV a spot on the FPV Pilots to Watch list in July, 2020.

Get a unique perspective of the Old Town of Wrocław, Poland in this first person view (FPV) drone tour by new contributor cine_ghost.  The historic core of one of modern Poland's largest cities, the Old Town lies on the banks of the Oder River in Silesia, a region of southwestern Poland.  Beginning with a shot flying through the district's streets, the video will then take you over and around one of the city's greatest landmarks: the Wrocław Cathedral, which dates to the period following the Mongol Invasion of the 13th century.

In this outstanding first person view (FPV) drone video by CataFpv, you'll get a unique perspective of the town of Mola di Bari in southeastern Italy.  Mola di Bari is part of the Metropolitan City of Bari, one of the provinces of the region of Apulia, just above the "heel" of peninsular Italy.  It's a port city on the Adriatic Sea.  The video features excellent footage of the Piazza XX Settembre, the city's main public square, including the Church of Saint Mary Magdalene, a prominent church.  

Get a first person view (FPV) drone tour of the fabled Italian seaside town of Positano in this fantastic video by AirVuz contributor CataFpv.  A holiday getaway spot since the time of the Roman Republic, Positano is one of the main towns on the Amalfi Coast, a legendary stretch of coastline on the Gulf of Salerno (part of the Tyrrhenian Sea, itself an inlet of the Mediterranean) a bit to the southeast of the city of Naples.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in October of 2022.      

Take a tour of Stockholm, Sweden by first person view (FPV) mini-drone in this fantastic piece by new AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot matin2252.  The first part of the video was filmed flying around the Stortorget, Stockholm's oldest public square, which lies in the heart of the heart of the Gamla Stan (Stockholm's old city).  Starting at about the 1:05 mark, you'll circle the clock tower of St. Nicholas Church (Storkyrkan Cathedral), the city's oldest church.  A bit further on, you'll fly past the German (St. Gertrude's) Church. 

Explore the Turkish capital city of Ankara by first person view (FPV) drone in this excellent piece by AIrVuz contributor beecopter.  Starting at about the :17 mark, you'll fly through Gazi Park, which lies just west of the city center, followed by a flyover of the larger Gençlik Park, near the city center.  Other featured locations include Ankara Castle (:50), the Atakule observation tower (1:20), and more.  Located in the region of Central Anatolia, Ankara has been the national capital since the founding of modern Turkey in 1923.  

Take a tour of an enchanting village on the Italian island of Sardinia in this first person view (FPV) drone video by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot FPVFlow.  The town of Bosa is located on the western (and far less populated) side of the island, the second-largest in the Mediterranean Sea.  The town is located on a small hill above the Temo River, in the province of Oristano.  The town has a permanent population of about 8k.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in early December of 2021.  

Check out this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone tour of a city in central Turkey, compliments of FPV pilot Vladimir Metiver.  The video was shot over the town of Sivas, a provincial capital set on the banks of the Kızılırmak River in the region of Central Anatolia.  Settled since the Antiquity, the city continues to maintains its importance as a transportation hub astride important routes connecting Turkey with other parts of the Middle East.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in December, 2021. 

Get a unique perspective of a town on the fabled Italian Riviera, compliments of first person view (FPV) drone pilot CataFpv.  He used an FPV mini-drone to film the town of Porto Venere, which is situated at the southern end of the peninsula that forms the western side of the Bay of Spezia, just south of the Cinque Terre towns.  The highlight of the video is a single-shot sequence which takes you over the city's two most famous landmarks: the Andrea Doria Castle overlooking the Bay of Poets and the church of San Pietro just below it.  

Take a tour of the ancient Italian city of Salemi in this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot CataFpv.   Salemi is located in the western part of the giant island of Sicily, in the province of Trapani.   Dating to the Antiquity, Salemi briefly became the capital of Italy in 1860 as the modern-day nation was forged under the leadership of Giuseppe Garibaldi.  Extremely well shot and edited, this video was picked for the AirVuz FPV Pilots to Watch list in January, 2021.  

Take a first person view (FPV) drone tour of a historic town in the Czech Republic, compliments of AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Fly-Cam.Fun.  Stříbro is located in the Plzeň Region, one of the country's two western provinces.   Like much of the region, its economy was originally based largely on mining.  The town dates to the12th century, possibly earlier.  The centerpiece of the town, which is featured prominently in the video, is its 16th century Town Hall.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in August, 2021. 

AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot Lukasz Lewenda brings us this excellent FPV tour of an important city in southern Poland.  Bielsko-Biała is located just north of the Beskid Mountains in the voivodeship (province) of Silesia.  Its hyphenated name refers to the two towns on either side of the Biala River (a right tributary to the Vistula River) which merged in 1951.  Settled since medieval times, Bielsko-Biala is an important industrial center.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in July of 2022.

For a first upload to AirVuz, new contributor and first person view (FPV) drone pilot brings us this fantastic FPV view of the Old Town of Kaunas, Lithuania.  Located at the confluence of the Nemunas and Neris Rivers in the interior of this Baltic republic, Kaunas is Lithuania's second-largest city, after Vilnius.  The video provides a unique FPV perspective of the most well-known sights of this historic district, including the 14th century Kaunas Castle, the 16th century Town Hall, and the main square.  

AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot FPVFlow was picked for the first FPV Pilots to Watch list of 2022 with this incredible FPV city tour from the Italian Riviera.  The video was filmed flying over and around the famed town of Portofino.  Located a bit to the southeast of the city of Genoa, Portofino lies near the tip of a peninsula which extends into the Ligurian Sea (a northern inlet of the Mediterranean).  Over a thousand years old, Portofino has been a destination for the rich and famous since the 19th century.  

The Midwestern USA city of Dayton, Ohio has a close association with the miracle of flight; it was here that two bicycle mechanic brothers named Orville and Wilbur Wright conceived of the first powered flying machine which came to be known as an airplane.   It's a fitting spot than for some epic first person view (FPV) drone flight, as you'll see in this beautiful video by contributor and FPV pilot KeleFPV.  Taking his racing quad out over the city at dawn, he gives us a view that the Wright Brothers would no doubt appreciate.  

Check out this fantastic "one-shot" first person view (FPV) drone tour of a historic city in northern Turkey by AirVuz contributor and pilot tumbler_fpv.  Mezifon is located in the province of Amasya, one of the inland provinces of Turkey's Black Sea Region.  Sitting on a plain south of the Pontic Mountains, the town dates to the Antiquity.  It rose to prominence during Roman times, and remained an important city during the Ottoman period.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in March, 2022.  

Take a first person view (FPV) drone tour of the Italian city of Anzio in this excellent piece by former DVOW Finalist Mauro Sciambi.  The seaside town is located on the Tyrrhenian Sea (an inlet of the Mediterranean) in the region of Lazio, about a 45 minute drive south of Rome.  The city was the site of a famous World War II battle in which an Allied attempt to move up the Italian coast via an amphibious landing in January, 1944 was bogged down for months under heavy German resistance, resulting in tens of thousands of casualties.

Check out this highly cinematic first person view (FPV) tour of the town of Arbon, Switzerland, compliments of AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot TripleF Productions.  Using an FPV-equipped racing quad, he flew over and around the town, which is located in the Canton of Thurgau in the northeastern part of the country.  The town is located on a peninsula on the southern shore of Lake Constance, one of the largest and most important lakes in Central Europe, which serves as the border between Switzerland and Germany to the north.  

Take a first person view (FPV) drone tour of ancient Messina, Italy in this fantastic FPV city tour by AirVuz contributor and pilot pioandreaperi.  Messina is the third-largest city on the island of Sicily, after Palermo and Catania.  It's located in the northwestern corner of the island, the closest spot in Sicily to the Italian mainland.  Founded by Greek colonists in the 8th century BC, Messina has been fought over for much of its history, most recently during World War II when the city was subject to massive Allied air assaults.

Explore the great city of Amsterdam in the Netherlands by first person view (FPV) drone in this great video by brand-new contributor and FPV pilot FauxRoche.  The video opens with some great shots skimming over the city's fabled canals, and at around the :20 mark you'll fly past (and over) the Munttoren, a clock tower on the Muntplein square in the heart of the central city.  At about the :49 mark, there's a great shot fo the Basilica of Saint Nicholas, one of the city's most famous churches. 

Get a unique perspective of the famed Greek town of Oia in this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Matt Dahlberg.  Oia is located on the northwestern side of the island of Santorini, one of the Cyclades chain of islands in the western Aegean Sea.  Over 800 years old, the town reached its peak around the turn of the 20th century, when it was home to a fleet of over 100 shipping vesels.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in Novemberm, 2021. 

In this excellent video by AirVuz contributor kostas Gur, you'll take a first person view (FPV) drone tour of the town of Methana, Greece.  Methana lies on the eastern side of the Peloponnese, a large peninsula which represents the southern portion of mainland Greece.  The town sits on the tip of a much smaller (namesake) peninsula created by a system of over 30 volcanoes, which are of fairly recent (about a million years ago) geologic origin but which have been inactive for over 300 years.  

AirVuz contributor and first person view (FPV) pilot PilotInCommand FPV took to the nearly-empty streets of St. Louis, Missouri during the Covid-19 pandemic to "dive in" to this elegant Midwestern City.  Incorporating some great "set-up"shots showing the areas being flown, he was able to put his racing quad through the paces of loops, building dives, and other FPV maneuvers, none of which would typically be possible given the typically high levels of people and traffic in the central city.  

Take a first person view (FPV) drone tour of one of Turkey's largest cities in this excellent piece by top AirVuz contributor ssolunoglu.  Mersin is located near the eastern end of Turkey's Mediterranean coastline.  Its metropolitan area is home to over a million residents, and it's one of the core components of the larger Adana-Mersin Metropolitan Area, which has a population of over three million.  Featuring great footage of the city and its waterfront, this video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in April of 2022.  

Take a first person view (FPV) drone tour of the city of Birgu on the Mediterranean island of Malta in this video by top AirVuz contributor Fpv_travel_girl.  Also known as Vittoriosa, Birgu is one of the "three cities" on the southern side of Malta's Grand Harbor, opposite the capital city of Valletta.  The video was filmed during the summer "feast", a Maltese tradition.  There are over 100 of these events which occur in different towns and cities throughout Malta during the warmer months of the year.

 brings us this fantastic FPV tour of the famous hilltop town of Narni, Italy.  The commune is situated overlooking a canyon of the Nera River in the province of Ternia in Umbria.  Inhabited since the Paleolithic era, Narni was known as Narnia during the Roman period, when it was seen as an important strategic outpost.  In the 20th century, British author C.S. Lewis used the town's Roman name for an imaginary land immortalized in his Chronicles of Narnia series (1950-56).  

Take a first person view (FPV) drone tour of an important city in Central Asia, compliments of AirVuz contributor EPIFANOVKZ.  Samarkand is located in southeastern Uzbekistan, one of the republics which emerged from the dissolution of the Soviet Union in the early 1990's.  Situated on the old Silk Road, which connected the economies of Europe and Asia for centuries, Samarkand became one of the largest and most important cities in all of Central Asia.  The video was filmed over the heart of the city, one of the oldest in Asia.  

Take a first person view (FPV) drone tour of a town on the Italian Riviera, compliments of AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot CinematicPier.  The town is called Tellaro, and it's located on the eastern side of the Gulf of La Spezia (an inlet of the Ligurian Sea), a bit to the southeast of the gulf's namesake city.  While Tellaro is not as well-known as the towns of Cinque Terre (which lie a bit to the west), it's been rated as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, and it has long served as a magnet for artists.  

Explore the great Spanish city of Barcelona in this excellent first person view (FPV) drone video by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot YASOFPV.  The video opens with a circling shot of the Columbus Monument, one of the city's most famous landmarks, which lies at the end of the La Rambla thoroughfare.  At about the :10 mark, you'll see the sail-shaped W Hotel on the city's waterfront.  Other spots include some of the city's famous churches and marinas.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in September, 2022.

This first person view (FPV) video from FPV Brothers will give you an entirely new perspective on the great city of Seattle, the informal regional capital of the USA's Pacific Northwest.  On an (untypically, for Seattle) reasonably clear New Year's Day, a GoPro Session 5 affixed to a TBS Crossfire racing drone was used to dive (piloting with video goggles) the 76 story Columbia Center; at 284 meters (933 ft.), it's the tallest building in the Pacific Northwest and one of the half-dozen tallest on the West Coast.  

Take a mini-tour of the canals of Venice Italy in this excellent first person view (FPV) drone video by top AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot CataFpv.  The video opens with a shot flying out a window and two right turns which will take you over a goldola making its way along one of these famous waterways.  You'll follow along the canal fo a bit, flying between the buildings which line it, before emerging over the top to see the St Mark's Campanile tower in the distance.  This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list.
