Top AirVuz contributor and Drone Video of the Week Winner msember brings us this marvelous aerial tour of the Coclé Province of Panama.  One of the ten provinces of this Central American country, Coclé is situated near the middle of the country.  It has a coastline along the Pacific Ocean, with most of the province's roughly 5k square km of land area (around 2k square mi.) consisting of mountainous interior jungle.  The video features excellent footage of the inactive El Valle volcano as well as some spectacular nearby waterfalls.

Check out this fantastic drone video of the rainforests of the giant island of Borneo.  The third-largest island in the world, Borneo is split between the Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei.  Most of the interior of the island is covered by two types of rainforest: a highland area in the north-central part surrounded by a lowland jungle.  These are some of the oldest rainforests in the world, having existed for up to 140 million years.  The preservation of these jungles has become the subject of worldwide ecological concern in recent years.

Check out this drone video of the El Yanque National Forest in Puerto Rico, compliments of contributor 8 Fifth Productions.  Located in the northeastern part of this US island territory, it's the only rainforest in the US National Park system.  The park is located in the Sierra de Luquillo mountain range, and covers a land area of just over 110 square km (around 43 square mi.).  With its highest peak at a bit over 1k meters above sea level (around 3.3k ft.), parts of the park receive as much as 600 cm of rainfall per year or around 20 ft.

The Amazon Rainforest is an immense area, covering 5.5 million square km (2.1 million square mi) of territory in South America.  Roughly 60% of the rainforest is situated in Brazil, with the balance spread around eight other countries.  In this stunning drone video, contributor Cristian Dimitrius give us an aerial tour of portions of this irreplaceable natural resource in Brazil and French Guyana.  The Amazon River is the world's largest source of freshwater apart from the Arctic icecaps.

In this peaceful DVOW nominated video, foggy jungles, softly lit during the golden hour, are captured by content creator Marcel Bastida.  The title of the breathtaking piece translates to "Among Trees in the Jungle of Ecuador," and it, he showcases the Arpía Lodge, which is set amongst the exotic flora and fauna of the remarkable Amazon.  The Ecuadoran Amazon basin is known to be home of a stunning range of biodiversity, as well as uncontacted tribes, deliberately living away from the modern world.

The mighty Amazon River is not exclusive to Brazil, and it actually originates in several countries of South America.  Contributor and drone pilot JTurner takes us on an aerial tour of the Amazon Basin in the northern part of the landlocked country of Bolivia.  Using his DJI Mavic Pro drone he gives us a bird's eye view of the area around Madidi National Park.  Covering parts of both the Andes region and (what you will see here) the Amazon Basin, the park is one of the most biodiverse areas on the planet.

Many of the most beautiful areas of Honduras are in the north of the Central American country.  Contributor LP-Drone Videos used a DJI Mavic Pro Platinum drone to create this amazing aerial video of two towns in the jungles of northern Honduras.  The aerial views cover two different cities in Honduras: (1) Tela, which sits on the Caribbean coast in the Atlántida Department (one of the 18 into which Honduras is officially divided); and (2) San Pedro Sula, which lies 75 km or so to the interior in the Cortés Department.

Much of Malaysia's land area of 330k square km (about 127k square mi.) is tropical rainforest.  The interior of both peninsular Malaysia and Malaysian Borneo is covered by dense jungle, covering hundreds of thousands of square km.  In this video, contributor and pilot Kakikujalanjalan flew his drone over the area around Bukit Gambang in peninsular Malaysia to create this epic view of the dense rainforest in this equatorial wonderland which is located in the very heart of Southeast Asia.

At 16.7 million acres, the Tongass National Forest is the largest national forest in the United States. Located in the southeastern part of the USA's 49th state, the forest encompasses the islands of the Alexander Archipelago, many fjords and glaciers, and the Coast Mountains. The area is a Pacific temperate rain forest WWF ecoregion with many endangered flora and fauna.

Costa Rica's numerous volcanoes and extensive rainforests combined to create a third natural phenomenon - beautiful gushing waterfalls.  The western half of this Central American  country, inland from its Pacific Ocean coast, is home to some of the most beautiful waterfalls in the world.    Impressively, top contributor and former DVOW winner Msmember was able to visit eight of these marvels in a 24 hour period, drone in hand.  As you'll see from his video, the bird's eye views are spectacular.
