Aerial Views of Zimbabwe

AirVuz contributor davetke2002 brings us this outstanding drone video of Victoria Falls, by some measures the world's largest waterfall.  The falls lie on the Zambezi River, on the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe.  While the falls have a modest drop of 355 ft. (108 m), they are (literally) a mile wide - 5.6k ft. or 1.7k m to be exact.  In terms of the area of its water curtain, it's the largest waterfall in the world.  By comparison, Niagara Falls in the USA is only about half as tall and half as wide.  

Top contributor Fabio Knoll created this masterpiece of a drone video of the mighty Victoria Falls in southern Africa.  These Falls lie on the Zambezi River, Africa's fourth longest, more or less at the border between Zambia and Zimbabwe.  It has a total drop of 108 meters (355 ft.) and is an incredible 1.7k meters (5.6k ft.) wide, making it the largest waterfall in the world in terms of the area of its water curtain.  This UNESCO World Heritage Site is one of the top tourist attractions in southern Africa.  

Contributor Sandrine Hecq, who hails from Australia, travels the world making videos of her adventures.  In this video, she shows us the beautiful sub-Saharan African nation of Zimbabwe, where she spent seven days.  Using a combination of footage from a DJI Phantom 4 drone and ground camera footage, she gives us the highlights of her trip, mostly from a bird's eye perspective.  Join her as she pursues what this amazing country has to offer, including bungee jumping, cage diving, and waterfalls.

AirVuz contributor benandstories brings us this excellent drone video from the Sub-Saharan African nation of Zimbabwe.  The video was shot over and around Lake Chivero. which is actually a reservoir of the Manyame River, in the north central part of the country.  The purpose of the dam project that created the reservoir was to provide drinking water for the nearby city of Harare, which is the country's largest city and capital.  Part of the Lake Chivero Recreational Park, the reservoir also provides irrigation water.  

The Zambezi river in southern Africa is almost 2.6k km (1.6k mi.) long, making it the fourth longest river on the continent.  It rises in Zambia and flows through three other countries before reaching Zambia again on its border with Zimbabwe where Victoria Falls, the river's most notable feature, is located.  In this video, contributor FredD flew his drone over the mighty river as it courses through the mighty waterfall, creating a masterpiece from the visuals of the water rushing downriver.
