1915 Canakkale Bridge

The bridge spans the Dardanelles Strait in the northwestern part of the country. The suspension bridge's main span will be 2,023 meters long (just over 6.6k ft), the precise length symbolizing the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic in 2023. When the bridge is completed, its main span length will surpass Japan's Akashi Kaikyō Bridge to become the longest in the world.
