For centuries, sufferers of a range of ailments have taken to the springs of the Caucasus region of Southern Russia for the supposed restorative properties of their mineral waters.  For example, during World War II, nearly a million soldiers were sent to sanitoriums here to help them recover from their injuries.  In this drone video by top AirVuz contributor nikybwd, you'll get an aerial tour of some of the most prominent of these "spa towns": Mineralnye Vody, Kislovodsk, Pyatigorsk, Essentuki, and Zheleznovodsk.
