Nevada drone startup Flirtey has the honor of being the first drone in the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum collection. It will forever be remembered as the first drone to complete a delivery that was FAA sanctioned. Check it out!

Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum.
The hexcopter produced by drone startup Flirtey,
made the historic delivery of medical supplies to a
rural Virginia clinic in July of 2015.
Here’s the actual drop off!
Flirtey, based in Nevada, calls its drone the F3.0. It will soon be joining other famous
pioneering aircraft like the Wright Brother’s Flyer in
the annals of history.
When exactly it will go on display is not known, but
when drone delivery soon becomes commonplace,
this milestone will be remembered for years to
come…
