Abandoned Art Deco Bathhouse | Aerial Film
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Content creator and drone pilot Matthew Chirico created this beautiful drone video of a historic spot in New York city called the Jacob Riis Bathhouse, the centerpiece of a park of the same name on the Rockaway Peninsula. The park was largely the work of the powerful New York City Parks Commissioner Robert Moses in the 1930's. The area fell into a state of disrepair in the 1960's; the park has been reborn under the National Park Service but the bathhouse has not reopened despite numerous plans.

Hey AirVuz fam, I'm back with another short film! This one highlights the Art Deco/Moorish architecture of the abandoned Jacob Riis Bathhouse in Rockaway, Queens, NY. This was shot on my Mavic Pro using an ND 32 filter. Enjoy the vibe!
