We stopped off at The Bridges of Ross and the Loophead Lighthouse on a recent trip to Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way. This part of Ireland hosts some of the best examples of folding rock formations and sandstone turbidites in the world, and the coastal erosion has created some natural sea arches and stacks on the rugged cliff edges of Ireland's west coast. The following weekend we climbed Ireland's highest mountain, Carrauntoohil, which is located on the Iveragh Peninsula in County Kerry.
