New AirVūz contributor and drone pilot johnzi323 used his DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone to create this stunning aerial reel of Hawaii's Big Island. The Big Island, which is officially named the Island of Hawai'i is the largest of the islands in the Hawaiian archipelago. The easternmost of the four main islands, the Big Island is home to vast landscapes which include colored beaches, active volcanoes, scenic waterfalls, and lush rainforests. This video earned a Drone Video of the Week nomination in December 2020.

Recently I've visited The Big Island of Hawaii and it was a great opportunity to practice my drone skills above those vast and gorgeous landscapes. Weather conditions were crazy back then but at the same time, they were perfect for capturing dynamic hyperlapses. I made a lot of mistakes, but in the end, it was worth it!
