Acqueduct Carolino
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Contributor Matteo_Lifestyle used a drone to aerially film an important work of 18th century engineering in Southern Italy. It's called the Aqueduct of Vanvitelli (also known as the Caroline Aqueduct) and it was built to provide the nearby Royal Palace of Caserta with water. Completed in 1762, the aqueduct draws from the Taburno Camposauro mountain masif and directs water to the palace, one of the largest in Europe. The aqueduct and palace are located in the province of Caserta, in the region of Campania.
