Xiamen University is a top post-secondary educational institution in Southeastern China. It's located at the south end of Xiamen Island, in the Fujian Province. Established in 1921, the school currently enrolls about 21k students. It's one of 36 universities classified as "Double A" under the central government's Double First-Class initiative to create a world-class secondary education system.
