BRUGES | Belgium by Drone in 4K - DJI Mavic Air 2

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :

Former Drone Video of the Week Finalist eCKsplorer brings us this excellent drone video of the historic city of Bruges, Belgium.  At the :11 mark, you'll fly around the Church of Our Lady, a Gothic masterpiece which is one of the tallest brick towers in the world.  At :45, you'll get a similar view of the Belfry of Bruges, which dates to the mid-13th century and is an reminder of the city's glorious past as a center of the textile trade.  Other highlights include the City Hall, which you'll see at the 1:35 mark.

BADGES THIS VIDEO HAS EARNED:

I never knew about Bruges until I moved over to Europe several years ago. Then everyone wouldn't stop talking about it. Now, 6 years after first mention, I can now say that I have been there and I completely understand what all the hype is about. I flew into Brussels and took the 2 hour bus ride north to Bruges and spent the whole day there, to return back in the evening. I suppose when I return, I will stay there for a few days to really get the most out of it. Bruges is located in the Northeastern part of Belgium in West Flanders. It is known for its amazing architecture and old town feel. Although it was quite touristy, it was large enough to where you could actually be alone and away from the crowds. As you can see from the video, the weather was perfect that day and so I sent the drone up. Some of my favorites places I saw in no particular order were Saint John’s Hospital, Bruges City Hall, Church of Our Lady Bruges, Basilica of the Holy Blood, the Market Square, the Provincial Court, Spiegelrei, and De nieuwe Papegaai.
