Wind turbines convert the kinetic energy of the wind into mechanical power or electricity. The smallest of turbines are used for applications like battery charging for boats or traffic warning signs. Larger turbines can be used in wind farms, an increasingly important source of intermittent renewable energy. Pilot aquila_fpv went of a freestyle FPV flight around these powerful machines, giving us an up close look at the moving beasts and a little fun flying in-between.
