Brabant Biesbosch national park Netherlands
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
The Netherlands' Biesbosch National Park is one of the premiere coastal wetlands areas in Western Europe. It's situated in the South Holland province of the Netherlands at the head of the Hollands Diep, the estuary for the Rhine and Meuse Rivers. One of the largest of the Dutch national parks, Biesbosch covers an area of numerous small rivers, creeks, and willow forests. Critical for migrating geese and other waterfowl, you can check out the beautiful park from above in this drone video by Silvano1988.

The Biesbosch National Park is one of the largest national parks of the Netherlands and one of the last extensive areas of freshwater tidal wetlands in Northwestern Europe. The Biesbosch ('forest of sedges' or 'rushwoods') consists of a large network of rivers and smaller and larger creeks with islands. The vegetation is mostly willow forests, although wet grasslands and fields of reed are common as well. The Biesbosch is an important wetland area for waterfowl and has a rich flora and fauna. It is especially important for migrating geese.
