The city of Olomouc is one of the historical treasures of the Czech Republic.  It's located on the Morava River in the Moravia historical region, in the east-central part of the country.  During the Middle Ages, Olomouc was the capital of Moravia and its largest city.  Sacked and occupied by Swedish soldiers during the Thirty Years' War in the 1640s, it lost its leading position in the region to Brno.  Seen in this drone video by Viajes Los Planet, Olomouc remains one of the country's six largest cities and one of its best-preserved.
