AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : The giant Canadian island of Newfoundland has always posed significant navigational challenges to shipping in and out of the Gulf of St. Lawrence, Canada's most important connection to the sea. This is especially true of the Avalon Peninsula, a large landform which extends from Newfoundland's southeastern side. Not surprisingly, lighthouses represent an important part of the landscape here. One of the most important is Cape Spear Lighthouse, which you'll see from above in this drone video by Nō Ka 'Oi Drone Guys.
