AirVuz contributor rcwolf-media used a DJI Air 2 drone to create this marvelous aerial tour of the Lake Balaton area of Hungary. The largest lake in Central Europe, Balaton runs on a generally southwest-to-northeast axis roughly 50 mi. in length (just under 80 km) through the region of Transdanubia, in the western part of the country and a bit south of Budapest. The northern shore of the lake is mountainous, while its southern shore is generally flat and opens up onto the Great Hungarian Plain.

Lake Balaton is extremely popular and busy in summer, being one of the most visited lakes and vacation spots in Hungary. But I think the best time to visit the lake is in the fall, the colours the lake dresses in is just insane. This is a short edit of the best shots I captured in the last 2 years, all taken in Sept/ Oct / Nov 2020-21.
