Located near the town of Vik at the southern tip of this North Atlantic island nation, Reynisfjara is known for both its distinctive black sand as well as its stunning offshore basalt rock columns. It makes for a stunning backdrop to this highly cinematic video and a worthy addition to the coastal FPV sub-genre. This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in September, 2020.

The Black Sand Beach at Reynisfjara was a flying spot like no other. I struggled here more than usual as the black sand managed to find its way into the drone's motors but it was definitely worth it for the footage.
