Middlesbrough is one of the great industrial towns of northern England.  It's part of the urban agglomeration known as Teeside, which is a set of communities near the mouth of the River Tees in North Yorkshire.  Part of the North East region, Middlesborough was originally built as a port for shipping coal.  It later developed its own steel industry, at one point one of the largest in the world.  In this drone video by DJM Aerial, you'll get a look at the industrial legacy of Middlesborough, which has now entered a post-industrial phase.
