Devil's Finger Rock
AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE :
Check out this beautiful drone video from Russia's Far Eastern Region, compliments of new contributor and pilot VladSavelyev. It's a rock formation variously known as Devil's Finger and Pirate's Castle, and it's located on Spokoynaya Bay, an inlet of the Sea of Japan (itself a large inlet of the Pacific Ocean). The bay is situated a bit to the east of Vladivostok in Primorsky Krai, the southernmost of the eleven Federal Subjects (provinces) which make up Russia's Far Eastern Federal District.

One of the most amazing natural monuments of the Primorsky Territory is located in the Spokoynaya Bay. People call it differently: Castle, Pirate's Castle, Devil's Finger. We are talking about stone outliers formed as a result of the weathering of gray granite rocks of the Cretaceous period. The most significant of the monuments is the granite rock Castle, which is about 40 meters high. A huge stone egg weighing more than 30 tons is balancing next to him, on a rocky ledge. Here you can also see an outlier Mushroom - a stone formation in the form of a giant mushroom with a cap diameter of 6 meters. From other formations: the Rock of the Dragon, God's finger, the Masculine principle, the Elephant and simply picturesque heaps of rocks
