The The Sella Pass in English or Sellajoch in German, at a height of 2218 m is a high mountain pass between the provinces of Trentino and South Tyrol in Italy. It connects the Val Gardena in South Tyrol and Canazei in the Fascia Valley in Trentino. With Pordoi Pass, Gardena Pass, and Campolongo Pass, this pass forms a quadrangle around the Sella group. In the winter, ski trails are prepared that make the entire round in both directions, known as the Sella Ronda. The Sella Pass is the third of seven Dolomites mountain passes riders cross in the annual Maratona dles Dolomites single-day bicycle race. It is also on the route of the Dolomites Gold Cup Race. Gardena Pass in English or Grödnerjoch in German is a high mountain pass in the Dolomites of the South Tyrol in northeast Italy. At an elevation of 2,136 m (7,008 ft) above sea level, the pass connects Selva in the Val Gardena on the west side with Corvara in the Val Badia. The road over it comprises part of the famous Sella Ring, in which four linked passes encircle the spectacular Sella group. The route becomes busy with tourists, motorcyclists, and cyclists during the summer. There are tourist accommodations on the pass itself, and hikers visit the pass to access the dramatic Dolomite mountains. Featured is also the amazing Sassolungo or Saslonch or Langkofel (3,181m). It is the highest mountain of the Langkofel Group in the Dolomites. The name translates to "long peak" / "long rock" in all three languages. It stands over the Ladin community of Val Gardena.
