The video was filmed over and around the town of Albena, which is located about a half-hour drive north of Varna, not far from the border with Romania. The town was largely constructed in the 1960's during the Communist period, when Bulgaria's Black Sea coastline became a sort of playground for high ranking officials from across the Warsaw Pact.

This video presents drone flight over sea resort Albena. Albena is a holiday village on the Black Sea, located in northeastern Bulgaria, 8 km from the town of Balchik, 30 km from the towns of Dobrich and Varna, 500 km northeast of the capital of Bulgaria Sofia. The beach is 5 km long and 150 meters wide. Only 10 km from Albena is the Botanical Garden in Balchik, containing unique plants. Albena is located near the Baltata Reserve, which is a long forest near the Batova River. It was officially opened on August 24, 1969. It is managed by one of the largest tourist companies in Bulgaria - Albena AD, a publicly traded company on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. By 2020, the complex has 9,283 beds in 22 accommodations, the number of nights is 347 thousand, and overnight stays - 71 thousand people. The great nature and the amazing beach are a prerequisite for a complete vacation. Free access to the resort by car is completely limited. Depending on the proximity of the beach you have to pay 5, 10 or 20 BGN.
