Drone Video of the World's Largest Natural Mirror

Salar de Uyuni in Bolivia is the world's largest salt flat. Tucked amid the Andes Mountains in southwest Bolivia, the flats cover nearly 11,000 sq kilometers. With the advent of social media, tourism to the salt flats is becoming increasingly popular. 

 

During the wet season, the salt desert is transformed into a giant six to twenty inch deep salt lake. When this occurs, the site creates unique illusions of infinity, or the perfect viral-potential social media post. 

 

Drone pilot vieuma visited the flats during sunset to capture the natural wonder from above. The drone video features his group of travelers, their vehicles and the vibrant sunset perfectly reflected on the still water's surface.
