Located at 5th Avenue and 33rd Street in Midtown Manhattan, the 102 story Art Deco masterpiece was completed in 1931, during the depths of the Great Depression. Standing 381 meters at its roof height (1.25k ft.), it was the world's tallest skyscraper for four decades until dethroned by the World Trade Center; it remains one of the city's most iconic spots.
