Family of Sperm Whales on Madeira Island, Portugal

Situated in the North Atlantic Ocean, Madeira is home to both year-round as well as migratory populations of many whale (as well as dolphin) species. Sperm whales are the largest toothed whales and are considered the largest toothed predator.
