Floating Over Oia | Santorini, Greece FPV

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : Get a unique perspective of the famed Greek town of Oia in this fantastic first person view (FPV) drone video by AirVuz contributor and FPV pilot Matt Dahlberg. Oia is located on the northwestern side of the island of Santorini, one of the Cyclades chain of islands in the western Aegean Sea. Over 800 years old, the town reached its peak around the turn of the 20th century, when it was home to a fleet of over 100 shipping vesels. This video was picked for the FPV Pilots to Watch list in Novemberm, 2021.

There's so many photos of Oia online, but not many people get to see it from this perspective! I really love the unique twist that FPV can bring to any location. I was pretty nervous before takeoff because I knew this was going to be a challenging flight. But as soon as I started flying, I forgot about the nerves and zoned in. Huge thanks to the very talented Andrew Prahlow for the epic soundtrack. I stumbled across his work a while back on YouTube and immediately knew it would be epic for a drone video.
