Flying through Chivero, Zimbabwe

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : AirVuz contributor benandstories brings us this excellent drone video from the Sub-Saharan African nation of Zimbabwe. The video was shot over and around Lake Chivero. which is actually a reservoir of the Manyame River, in the north central part of the country. The purpose of the dam project that created the reservoir was to provide drinking water for the nearby city of Harare, which is the country's largest city and capital. Part of the Lake Chivero Recreational Park, the reservoir also provides irrigation water.

Back in Zimbabwe two times in a month. Always in awe with this country! People are so nice, the food is so tasty, and nature is breathtaking. I went two times with different crew to Lake Chivero and its reserve next to Harare. There, we met some Park Rangers who went with us in the car to help spot Rhinos! I managed to see several of them and also some giraffes, zebras, wild beast, baboons, warthog, impalas...
