Fort De Soto, St. Petersburg, FL (Aerial 4K)

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : AirVuz contributor aerialsbyandre brings us this excellent drone video of Florida's Fort De Soto Park on the state's Gulf of Mexico coast. The park is located on a set of five islands near the mouth of Tampa Bay, just west of the Sunshine Skyway Bridge and southwest of St. Petersburg. The park's namesake fort dates to the Spanish–American War, although Union troops had been stationed on the islands during the Civil War. Closed by the US Army in the 1920s, the islands were repurposed into a Pinellas County Park after World War II.
