GE Schenectedy

AIRVŪZ STAFF NOTE : AirVuz contributor and pilot Chris Bonano used a DJI Mavic Pro 2 drone to create this aerial of one of the most famous factories in the USA. It's the GE Power Systems plant in Schenectady, New York. The original factory was built in 1887 for the Edison Machine Works, the manufacturing arm of the great inventor Thomas Edison. In 1892, in a reorganization orchestrated by the banking house JP Morgan, Edison's companies were merged with competitor Thomson-Houston to form General Electric.
